Awkward Infatuation 

That awkward moment when you realise & accept that you have a crush on/fancy someone who you reeeeeeaaalllllyy shouldn't, ie a teacher or a member of your best mates' family. Similar to but not the same as crushing on a celebrity... With celebrities it's usually fine, but with teachers...

People experiencing Awkward Infatuation are often between the ages of 11 & 18, & common signs are wanting to impress them, either excessively talkative /shy around them, wanting to always be near or around them, overly looking forward to seeing them & to some extent maybe feeling a certain amount of sexual attraction to said person.

When/if said person finds out (& you usually hope they never do) they may be fine with it but most often they will feel embarrassed & will shun any further contact with you.

Girl: OMG I think i may have an Awkward Infatuation with our French teacher, he is really hot & so funny!

Friend: So that's why you spend so much time around him then. Give the poor guy a break he must be sick of you by now. You practically live in that classroom.

Teacher: ...

when you put too much hot water in your milo and it becomes an awkward temperature. to avoid this happening the hot water:cold milk ratio generally needs to be less than or equal to 0.2

Awkward Avocado 

An awkward avocado is similar to an awkward turtle, a hand gesture used to either diffuse or make a social situation awkward.

Simply clasp both hands together (with a slight outward curvature in the palm and fingers, creating the desired avocado shape) and move your hands in outwards circular motions (directed away from the body).

Thus creating the awkward avocado. Experienced users may attempt the awkward half-avocado, but this should be reserved for drastic situations only.

Bill: "If I'm ever on a date and the conversation lapses into an awkward silence, I just pull out the awkward avocado. Works every time"

Awkward Hole 

An "o" gesture made with your hand using all four fingers and thumb, the awkward hole is used following an awkward comment/suggestion/situation/motion that usually brings silence to a conversation. The Awkward hole is there to suck all the awkwardness away from the moment and let fresh topic commence.

Rob: So I just finished cleaning the Pit

CJ: I cleaned your mom's pit.

awkward silence 

the silence in a conversation when all other parties feel that someone else should be talking, yet no one does. Usually happens directly after a weird comment is made or between two partners on a date.

After John made that dead baby joke, there was an awkward silence.
