Back At the Barnyard

Back at the Barnyard is a Nickelodeon animated show about barnyard animals, mainly cows, that talk. They have a secret life that humans don't know about. Their daily routine is annoy their neighbor, yell random things, and save the world from something (that was usually their fault).

Guy 1: Did you watch Back at the Barnyard last night?
Guy 2: Yeah, it was awesome!

The Barrier

The term given to a sausage used to prevent the juice from baked beans touching a fried egg. Obviously only to be used for people who don't like the two items of food mixed (unlike me).

Invented by Alan Partidge, who said that his Russian wife made a good fried breakfast, good, but not brilliant, because she doesn't use the sausage as a barrier.

The Bartender

Everybody's favorite person. They smile at your frown, put up with most of your shenanigans, laugh at your terrible jokes, offer the occasional ride home, and keep pouring. it means basically 'cash and carry'... you pay someone cash on the spot (placing the cash atop a barrel that's for sale) and they in turn release the goods to you right then and there - and you carry it (the barrel) away!

I see that you're selling your car on line. Can I give you cash on the barrel head and I drive away with the title?

the barker effect

a person who has average/high levels of intelligence but is unbelieveably slow at undertaking menial tasks, such as washing up, pouring a glass of water or trying to tie their shoe laces. following in on from this, people who they then come into contact with, end up becoming slow at tasks they are involved with, even if they are usually efficient.

Ben: hey buddy, howcome you're taking so long? we're going to miss our flight?
