Born in the 1970's, southern rock harnest a perfect blend of southern additude and all that is rock 'n' roll. A southern rock band must have at least 3 guitars. The songs must contain lyrics about heartache, booze, a southern state or any combonation of the three. The "Southern Rock" life style requires you to be physicly out of shape and have the ability to drink a bottle of Jack Daniels by yourself.

Softer man

A term used to describe a individual who has either refused to do something, or has done something of lesser worth.

Example One:
Joe:"Hey come bungee jumping with the boys today."
Derek:"No, that sounds dangerous."
Joe:"Softer man!"
Example Two:
Derek:"Hey, I got Shirlena's name tatooed on my neck."
Joe:"She's not even your girlfriend!"
Derek:"Yeah, but I know she loves me."
Joe:"Softer man!"

Southern Lax Bro

A southern lax bro is basically the same concept as your traditional lax bro (Lax pennies, board shorts, O.A.R., weed, babes) with a few southern attributes. Southern lax bros tend to chew and dip, drive pickup-trucks or jeep wranglers, and enjoy the occasional cigar.

James: Dude that lax bro must be from the south, he's chewing and driving a wrangler.

Rob: Definitely a southern lax bro.

Generic Southern Rapper

Overrated rappers charactarized by little creativity, repetitive subjects matter, limited vocabulary, excess use of nonsensical similies, metaphors, and puns. The only reason they get away with it is because of incredibly high-level production that masks their limited skills. They're primarily seperated by location, and a couple have a higher pitched voice or faster flow, but really they're all the same rapper and easily interchangeable with others who possess the same limited skills.

Examples of a Generic Southern Rapper are the following: Rick Ross, Yung Joc, TI, everyone signed to Swishahouse, Bone Crusher, I could go on forever.
