runners scum

The white, thin, stringy residue you acquire from running miles upon miles outside. Usually appears after going from outdoors to indoors, but is also present in the heat. No matter how many times you lick your lips or wipe your face, you always seem to miss some.

when you've been drinking more than the usual amount for a few days. Not as much as a "bender" where you are drinking a lot more than usual - almost always to point of getting really drunk.
