Peer Pressure describes a situation when a person tries to get someone else to do something, usually against that other's better judgement. Like this:

"Hey Lucy, will you have sex/smoke cigarettes/drink alcohol/torture this gerbil with me?"

"Well, I'm not sure..."

"Everyone else is doing it."

>SIGHS<"Oh, ok."

S/he was a victim of "peer pressure".

1.Pressure that exceededs that of anything else and is placed on a person named Peter just for the fun of it.
2. Peer Pressure that is placed on people named Peter; ESPECIALLY people named Peter to lower their self esteem.

The children in Peter's class chanted "PETER PRESSURE, PETER PRESSURE, PETER PRESSURE!" And Peter-knowing that peter pressure had just been placed on him-face turned red.
