Spoken when one is indifferent or oblivious to what another person says. Usually said when one doesn't care, isn't interested or isn't in the mood.

<Father> Say, son, what say we go see Avril Lavigne, live on stage!?
<Son> Meh.

<Wife> C'mon! Let's have sex!
<Husband> Meh.

A word meaning as if either you don't care, you have no idea what the person is trying to say or you don't know the answer to a question you have been asked.

e.g. - "Who you go for red or blue?"
"Meh?" (Meh with question mark meaning i don't know)

- "Do you like your tea like this or that?"
"Meh" (Meaning I don't care as in either way)

- "You like nerds or non-nerds?"
"Meh?" (With question mark meaning i don't know and i don't care at all about it!)

Depending on the situation and the pitch/tone used when said, can mean: Yes!, sure..., (REJOICE!!), I dont know, hell naw, fuck no, (ice breaker), why?, eh... ok, I'm weird and make odd noises....

Starsky: Would you like to get wasted tonight?
Hutch: Meh! :-)

Hutch: I FOUND BOOZE!!!
Starsky: MEHHHHH!!!! :-D (rejoice!)

Starsky: Howd you do on your exam today?

A word that can be used to describe anything and respond to anything. It generally has an indifferent or negative connotation but can be interpreted differently. This means you must pay attention to the person who says it. Often used alone with no explanaion. So again pay attention.

Guy:Do you want to do something?
Girl: Meh.....might as well im bored...

Person: Meh....I hate practicing....

Person: Meh....why am i awake at 5am and jumping into a pool?

Person: Will you get that for me?
Person 2: Meh.....(meaning im too lazy)

Person: Meh...(with arm reaching out towards person 2)
Person 2: Here you go (passes the food)

Person: (computer crashes) MEH!!!! (frustrated)

and even sometimes especially if your name is amanda:
Meh!!!!! (with an excited high pitched tone)
