When something is the shit. Can be used in place of “Right on!” “God damn!” or “That’s cool.” Totally nerdy thing to say in an ironic way. Coined term in the 90s with a high school friend when we were stoned.

“Dude, you got into Florida State?? Hot grog, man!”
“That party last night was hot grog.”
