red-shirt freshman

A Red Shirt Freshman is a student on an NCAA college sports team who was kept out of competition for a year in order to prolong his or her eligibility. Usually this is done to allow the student to be a "part" of the team in terms of learning, healing from injury, and/or conditioning, but not a participant in any of the contests/games/meets/etc.

The following year, they begin their 1st of 4 years of eligibility, or their "freshman" year of eligibility, even if they are sophomores in terms of academics.

Heather Stec from Siena Women's Basketball team played as a red-shirt freshman in the 2005-2006 season to be eligible to play an extra year at Siena.

1) The act of farting to cover up another persons fart.
2) When you smell something so freakishly bad you have to fart to cover up the smell.
3) When someone thinks their farts smell good they let air freshener farts frequently.- see fart sniffer

Person 1: "OMG that's awful!"
Person 2: "That's ok, I've got it covered"
Person 1: "OMG it's even worse now! Did you just let an air freshener fart?"
Person 2: "Yep, lovely isn't it?"
Person 1: "I think the tissue in my lungs is dying! Are those acidic?"

Freshman Frogger

What happens the first few days of the semester when all the new freshman do not understand how to negotiate walking through traffic. Often end up with either cars slamming on brakes or freshman being hit.
