Bobcat is a word describing the little brother syndrome of ones instate "rival". When one team feels they have a rivalry with a vastly superior opponent. The superior team usually doesn't know the Bobcat (little brother) exists or is any kind of a threat. The Bobcat (little brother) usually puts forth maximum effort in meaningless situations in order to get the point across on social media or message boards.
