That's so meta

Meta means of or relating to itself. Invoking the phrase will confer a measure of humility unto simplistic understandings of life which from time to time take the form of egoistic or at-a-distance notions about one or another's relation to the universe. This is accomplished by applying the definiton of the phrase/idea "That's so meta" which infers a measure of continuity between individual consciousness or group consciousness and all else considered to lie beyond or outside or apart from the illusory boundary of one's entity and/or awareness, all else being defined as: "the rest of the universe". Governing the relation of parts to the whole.

The humans living on earth keep a list of endangered species, remaining conveniently and blissfully unaware to their own threatened status, a status which is substantiated by facts of life. More specifically, by virtue of the reality of their complete reliance on a single planet (Earth) for their continued survival as a species. That's so meta.

a word phrase used to describe something unfortunate. the phrase is most commonly used by people that were born in early to late 90s and mid to late 80s however many others still use it. the phrase has taken on a different connotation and is now considered a bad word and vulgar by many small children. this is most likely because of the possible reference to a BJ

person 1: my dog died
person 2: oh that sucks man i am so sorry
person 1: thanks but don't say that sucks my little brother is around and he was not born in the 90s
person 2: oh sorry i forgot that it turned into a bad word
person 1: it is okay i still use it out of habit sometimes too.

A phrase uttered when someone is saying (or doing) something in a condescending, sarcastic, patronizing, antagonistic, etc. manner, i.e., talking like a bitch.

Person A: "These people are assholes! You don't clap when someone misses a serve, that's bitch talk!"

Person A: "Hey, what did you get on that test?! Ha! I did better than you! Hey, what did you get on that test?! Ha! I did better than you! Hey, what did you get on that test!? WHAT?! You cheated, whore!"
