Originating from the Tourettes Guy website. Simply stated as an alternate colloquialism for out of the frying pan and into the fire. By meaning: the process of abandoning a bad situation for a much worse situation.

Kick the Bucket 

Phrase used to say someone is dead or has deceased. Term is derived from when suicides were common by a person preparing to hang themself, and used a bucket to stand on, and then kicked the bucket when suicide was desired.

Ole' Charlie kicked the bucket today, we better prepare for his funeral.

An antiquated term for insanity, madness. Belfry: the top of a bell tower on a church, where the bell is housed. Often infested with bats, who enjoy the darkness and seclusion of the place.

She's got bats in the belfry, sqirrels in the attic, owls up in the loft. She's apeshit, bughouse, batty, mad as a march hare.

skin the bunny 

A tag game played by midwestern rednecks in which the participants, usually quite drunk, run, hop, or stagger after a running girl player who is wearing a halter or bikini top. The winner is the player who catches her and successfully strips her of her top. This may be followed by chugging a beer, fondling the bunny, or both.

On Saturday night, everyone got drunk and played skin the bunny. Sharon enjoyed being the bunny.

excellent - the highest quality.

Bees carry pollen back to the hive in sacks on their legs. It is tempting to explain this phrase as alluding to the concentrated goodness to be found around the bee's knee.
