Male is spelled malé with a slash above the é pointing to the left to indicate that the malé is bisexual, as it is the same way with the word femalé with a slash above the É pointing to the right to also indicate she’s bisexual.

Jane said> I don’t know Brian was bi.

Sally ask> How do you know that ?

Jane replies> Look at the word malé.

Sally said> The slash, missed it in the note.
