Internet Diagnosing

The act of searching medical websites to match real or imagined symptoms in oneself or ones friends and family. This automatically makes the searcher a medical expert and this person is usually known for their hypochondriac tendencies and uncanny abilities to drive you nuts.

Woman A: (cough) "I'm not feeling so hot."

Woman B: "Do you have shortness of breath and a fever?"

Woman A: "Mayyyybe.... I feel a little warm..."

Woman B: "Let me do some internet diagnosing on WebMD....Oh my god!! You have Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis! We've gotta get you to the emergency room!"

Internet Awkward

An impossible anomaly where someone comments, posts, responds, etc. with an uninteresting/odd comment. Considered impossible because conversations should only be awkward in reality, where someone can walk away. Very few people can create such odd occurrences. Those who can are usualy douche-bags.

Someone who, acting under the cover of internet anonymity, arrogantly and incessantly berates, argues with, or puts down others while masquerading as an expert on subject/s he or she knows nothing about.

John is such an internet big shot; despite his ignorance of medicine, he insists on internet message boards that Dr. Chu is an idiot for endorsing the utilization of palliative care measures for terminally ill patients.
