Swallowing Dust

A semi-famous Russian song about the Soviet-Afgan war. It tells the story of a Russian soldier, fatally injured in a helicopter crash, ending his life with a grenade in a last act of defiance.

Its title has also sometimes been coopted as a verb in order to describe fighting a depressive mental state.
