noun: a person whose behaviors and actions are driven solely or almost entirely by an overwhelming need to be perceived as normative/normal. This tends to take the form of policing those who deviate from the status quo/power hierarchies through the exhibition of dominance behaviors, which can include threats of and/or use of physical, verbal, or social violence. This can also include those who defer to those who engage in such behavior. Normbots are characterized by an apparent lack of interiority or introspection, hence the -bot suffix.

Normbots make the world a terrible place by enabling narcissists and sociopaths who take advantage of normbots' need to fit in with the norms of the dominant culture.
