Unfortunately his time in the spot light was cut short, when he made it to the top of the ladder, passing up the food. When I think of someone who has failed to complete a task I would call them an antony the anteater.

Used as a strawman to link plausible opinions, such as President Trump saying he could pardon himself of crimes he committed in office, to imaginary and ridiculous arguments intended to make left leaning people look just as crazy as those on the right.
