Porged

To catastrophically break a Linux installation—most commonly Arch Linux—to the point where it is fundamentally unrecoverable. When a system is "porged," no amount of chroot, Live USB tinkering, or forum-diving can save it; the only solution is to wipe the partition and reinstall from scratch.

The term originates from the username AdmiralPorg, a legendary figure known for their unique ability to turn a functional OS into a digital paperweight through reckless sudo usage, broken dependencies, or mismanaged bootloaders.

Person A: "That Hyprland rice looks clean! Did you finally get the ml4w dotfiles working?"
Person B: "Actually, I tried to force the installation script over my old config and totally porged my install. I can’t even drop into a TTY; it's just a black screen and sadness."
Person A: "Classic. I'll get the ventoy drive ready. Time to reinstall."
