doorknob question

Those are the dreaded words that doctors hear as they place their hands on the doorknob to leave the treatment room at what they think is the end of the patient encounter. The patient then tells the real reason that they scheduled their visit. This phenomenon frequently is the culprit that disrupts the doctor's schedule for the rest of the day.
Kayla turns back for what doctors know as the "doorknob question", or the embarrassing symptom turnaround.

olive question

The question for compatibility. Asking if someone likes olives is seeing whether or not you are compatible with them. If the answers are opposite, then they are compatible.

Girl: I hate olives. Do you like olives?

beg the question

From the Latin, petitio principii: to assert the truth of an unproven premise in the conclusion of an argument. Sometimes the unproven issue follows in the form of an indirect question.
John: "Legalization should not happen, because no one in their right minds would allow that to be legal!"
If John were to say this, his argument would beg the question, namely whether legalization is justified.

trick question

An inquiry having no correct answer, or one asked for the sole purpose of starting controversy or eliciting certain responses. Basically, a no-win situation.
Girlfriend asks: do I look fat in this? (trick question)

If you tell her she does, she'll throw a fit and tell you how insensitive you are. If you tell her she doesn't she'll call you a liar and go off on a tangent about how "all men are the same" or some nonsense like that

Auxiliary Question

An Auxiliary Question is a question that is going to force the other person to answer a different question, a question you haven't asked. A sneaky question.
Using an Auxiliary Question instead of asking a girl "Do you have a boyfriend?" you ask "Does your boyfriend likes football?" that would force her to say whether she has a boyfriend or not.

lonely question

The "lonely question" is of the same meaning as "moral question".
It's a Chinese-English pun since "moral(伦理)" in some Chinese dislects has the same pronunciation of "lonely".
This phrase originated from a Chinese streamer, the greatest Kroraina philosopher "Wanyan Huide", and soon went viral on Chinese video platforms after showing up in her stream.
"This is a lonely question."
"If your boyfriend falls in love with your dad, that will be a lonely question."
