April Fools

In 1582 people realized that there wasn't enough days in a year, so Pope Gregory XIII made us change from the Julian calender to the Gregorian calender. April fools is celebrated because some people didn't know so they still celebrated (new year) in April. However of years the concept of April Fools has changed.

April Fools Day

April fools day - Usually celebrated on the 1st day of April by people performing practical jokes on each other in the name of fun.

The year 2020 saw the definition expand as the event became a global pandemic which lasted from January 1st to December 31st as the whole year was deemed a “JOKE”
