They are about 50 million aroun tha world.
They mostly live in Azerbaijan Republic and South Azerbaijan (nowdays Iran)
They speak in Azerbaijananian dialect of Turkish.
Most of them are ethnic turks.

Ill say one think, Im Scottish and I used to work in Azerbaijan.
They are really cool people.
