A film that's generally hailed as a masterpiece by average movie-goers or non film watchers.

Term coined by YourMovieSucks when discussing Sinners on Sardonicast.

"Despite being Normie Masterpieces, I still think Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are still great films."

"Wow, everyone's raving about this new horror film, looks like a new Normie Masterpiece."

"I can see the cultural impact but I wasn't totally into it. It's a good Normie Masterpiece, for sure."

Can also be used to describe a Saxophone Player
