It doesn't matter what people believe to be true, it matters what is true. No matter what you do for the town you claim, you are not being yourself by claiming a town you're not originally from is your true hometown, your true hometown is where you're originally from, because that is where your heart is originally from, that is where it first started beating. True to life is being true to who you really are, not true to what you want people to see or love. It's better to be hated for who you are than loved or even liked for who you are not.
