Scooby Dooing

A way of getting bad neighbors to move away by using tactics of fright. Common examples would be dressing up as ghosts, using strange noises/lights, and creeping out neighbors with well crafted props.

Bill had a family that just moved next to him with the most annoying set of dogs, he figured he'd have to do some Scooby dooing to get them out of the neighborhood.

At the end of each episode of Scooby Doo, the villain always says, “and I would have gotten away with it if it weren’t for you meddling kids

... and I would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for you meddling press reporters says Clinton to Matt Drudge

White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan has excoriated NewsWeek for reporting on a Qu'ran being flushed down a toilet in Guantanamo. Translation: "and we would have gotten away with it too if it weren’t for you meddling Newsweek guys"

I remember he also had a pal, Scrappy Doo.

Scooby Doo and Scrappy Doo were always hopped up on the chronic, but always found a way to get the bad guy.

1) Northeastern U.S. slang for Valium (AKA diazepam) tablets and/or Vicodin tablets. Can be heard in various songs, including the Fun Lovin' Criminals song, "Scooby Snacks."
2) Occasionally used to refer to Quaaludes.
3) A hash brownie
