fishspade

A sort of squareish shovel used on a fishing trawler, used for the shovelling and moving of dead (or mostly dead) recently caught fish. Often used in one of those big pits they dump all the fish into.

The fisherman shovelled the fish out of the net and into barrels with his fishspade.
