Snib

Seemingly a verb used in the West-Coast of Scotland (the town of Paisley, for example) that refers to closing something, most often some sort of door or window. Does not seem to be in common useage with younger people, judging by past definitions on this site.

Snib that door before ye gie the cat a hoofin'.

The act of sucking and nibbling simultaneously. Usually pertaining to the body, but could relate to any tangible object.

Man, i'd love to snibble on Veronica's luscious jugs. They're practically screaming to be snibbled upon!

A noun.
An act of recognizing and noting a fact or occurrence by an individual who has an offensive air of superiority in matters of knowledge or taste.

While expressing her disdain for the local music, Diana could not help but make constant snobservations regarding the venue and the locals.
