Slang for an informal get-together of close female friends whereas they staunchly agree to attend without any makeup or styling their hair and they tend to show up in their most comfy sweats.

Sometimes there is that one vanity-driven person who comes waltzing in to hag night who has clearly broken the firm but unspoken rules requiring no primping and it is sadly something that keeps this socially maladroit person from any possible future invitations to hag nights.
