Clinton, NJ

A close to perfect far out suburb of New York City. Has some historical charm including a bridge with waterfall under it and a river running right through it's very lovely downtown. Clinton is the name for both the town and township that surrounds it. Clinton also generally includes neighboring Union, Franklin and Bethlehem townships as well. It's 85% white as Mexicans working in restaurants and landscapers pop out babies at alarming rates and Asians hopefull to be honorary white's continue settling in.

Very nice little town tough and the people are somewhat friendly. I guess it would be ideal if you don't mind having to driving 35 minutes just to get to the mall. It's set amongst rolling hills and has good schools. If you have family coming in from let's say; Wisconsin and you live in New York City, when they start freaking out, take them to Clinton for god's sake.

Clinton, IA

A little town that thinks it's a big one. Has the highest murder rate per capita in the country. Located on the Mississippi River. Commonly referred to as the pimple on the nose of Iowa. It is part Ashford University and part ADM. And is the recent home to Flavor Flav's Chicken restaurant (yes the same Flavor Flav from the VH1 show Flavor of Love).

Clinton, IA is definitely not a place to raise your family.

Clinton Township

The Worst possible place to be. Cops will try to do anything to get you in trouble. Teenagers always get pulled over for no reason. It has blue ribbon schools but definetly a terrible place be ready to be pulled over and investigated.

clinton did nothing

Conservative rallying cry that has little to no basis in history or reality for that matter as stated. If by "nothing" you mean that Bill Clinton never dragged us into the kind of disaster George W. Bush did with his poorly-planned and executed mega-quagmire, then you'd be right on the money. However, if by "nothing" you mean the time his anti-terror legislation (Omnibus Anti-Terrorism Act of 1995) was cock-blocked by the GOP-controlled Congress, when his assertions that Al-Quaeda in general and Osama Bin Laden in particular were serious threats were balked at by many Republicans, when his proposal to create a department dealing primarily with homeland security was rejected, and when his warnings that Islamic extremism was going to be the new threat of our age were ignored, then you've probably been paying more attention than most of America.

Bill Clinton's anti-terror and homeland defense ideas weren't ahead of their time as much as they were shot down due to partisan bullshit from Republicans. And Democrats are supposed to be the obstructionists?
