Mentula Grandiosus Syndrome

A condition manifest in certain adult males, identified by the following symptoms:

1. A penis worn down to the size of an acorn or smaller, from continuous self-massage.

2. The delusion that the size of said penis is far above average, and possessed only by highly motivated, hard working, intelligent individuals that thrive in a dynamic and creative work setting.
Travis and Michael, both suffering from Mentula Grandiosus Syndrome, did not realize that being characterized as "the biggest dicks on the block" was not a compliment.

Gothic metal

A subgenre of metal that grew out of death/doom and has a dark atmosphere, mournful and often introspective lyrics, and a gothic aesthetic. Vocals vary between growls, shrieks, deep bass/baritone male vocals and female vocals.

The genre started thanks to three British death/doom bands, Paradise Lost, Anathema and My Dying Bride, known as the "Peaceville Trio" due to being signed to Peaceville Records. These three were among the pioneers of death/doom, but they soon added other elements to their music, including female vocals and the use of keyboards and, in the case of MDB, violins. The genre grew thanks to Katatonia, Tiamat, Theatre of Tragedy , Type O Negative and The Gathering.

There is some controversy regarding the term amongst members of the metal community; it has been used to describe bands such as Evanescence, Nightwish and Epica, who have nothing to do with the genre and are mainly called "gothic metal" because of their female singers. Some use the term to mean "metal bands with female singers", even though the pioneers of the genre had male frontmen.

Finally, it has nothing to do with goths. Gothic metal is a straight-up metal genre, not a fusion of metal and goth rock. The goth subculture is not affiliated with gothic metal; obviously there are some who listen to gothic metal, but it's not "goth music". This is something many ignorant people get wrong, believing that "gothic metal" means "metal for goths".
Gothic metal bands - Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride, Anathema, Katatonia, Tiamat, Type O Negative, Theatre of Tragedy, The Gathering, Tristania, Trail of Tears, The Sins of Thy Beloved, Cradle of Filth, Graveworm, Moonspell, Draconian, Charon, Before the Dawn, Lacuna Coil (early), Within Temptation (first album).

nu-metal face

To do the Nu-Metal Face:
1) PLace your clenched fists against the sides of your head, pressing in on your temples.
2) Contort your mouth and eyes in the way that you might if you were passing a really big shit
3) Rock back and forth slightly.
4) Scream "Noooo! I won't tidy my rooooom!!!" at the top of your pre-pubescent voice.
5) Repeat as necessary, occasionally pulling up the top of your Linkin Park hoodie for effect.
"You just don't understand me!!! I won't do my Homeworrrrkkkk!!!!"

Herd Mentality

A sales, marketing, and business term describing why customers buy products or services because their friends, colleagues, neighbors, and family bought those same products and services previously. Also applies to a buyer's selection of a supplier or sales person to provide products and services to them.
Five years ago, our home had the only swimming pool on Apple Street. Now, thanks to herd mentality, over half the homes on Apple Street have a swimming pool.

Forest Metal

Forest metal is heavy metal music, generally of the black metal subgenre that mainly deals with the subject matter of nature and wildlife. It also promotes going back into ancient ways instead of going along with the evolution of industrial and urban living. Most prominent among the forest metal scene would probably be the Norwegian second-wave black metal band Ulver (meaning 'wolves'), who used forest imagery and themes extensively. They dedicated an entire album, entitled Nattens Madrigal, to werewolves.

The band Finntroll is arguably the band that uses the most forest related imagery and lyrics. On their ep, Visor om Slutet, the band included several long samples of sounds heard in the forest, such as frogs croaking, birds singing and things more related to Troll Metal, like trolls eating food.

It should be noted that forest metal is not exclusively produced in Scandinavia, as evidenced by the Czech Republic group Trollech and American group Asatru.
Dude, have you heard that Finntroll ep? Pure forest metal. I felt like I was returning to nature in Scandinavian old growth while listening.
