Nils is in its normal shape a small boy who doesn't have a personality and will usually just repeat something funny like e.g. a sound or sentence which only was funny the first time. And that will go on until there is a new thing. But when he is alone, he becomes the driest person in the world.

The sports rivalry between Michigan teams and Indiana/Chicago teams gets intense sometimes, as Niles is only about a ten minute drive from South Bend (where Notre Dame is)
