Broken

Something that is fully functional but acts the opposite.

Refusing to accept the reality.
A person acting the opposite in a normal circumstance.

Ex. A child runs into a wall and is laughing at the pain he/she is feeling,
Mother responds “I think my child is broken”.
Ex. He said “she isn’t laughing when I tickle her I think she’s broken”.
Ex. “My brother just got in a wreck and it made me laugh. I think I’m broken”.

This is someone or something that no one wants to play with or be around anymore.

Barney: "Mom, no one will come over to play with me or let me come over to play with them. This is terrible! I feel like a broken pickleball. What should I do?"

borked

When something is broken so badly by mishandling that it needs to be replaced along with the surrounding area, equipment, planet etc. Usually something delicate or basic, and usually involving trying to cover up the mistake by setting it on fire.

Jimmy was in charge of tunes on the road trip. He wanted to play a CD but the car only had a cassette deck. So he shoved the CD into the cassette slot, wedged it in with a cold chisel, hit it with a hammer, crashed the car, poured gasoline on it, set it on fire, stole a tank to put out the fire, used a backhoe to bury it and drove the backhoe off of a cliff.

Jimmy really "borked" the tunes!
