The act of referring to a some act or scenario in real life that you learned about online with the expectation that parties in the discussion already know what you're talking about.

Example: (Referring to a Facebook checkin at X last night) "So what did you think about X?"

"Technophora at its finest."

Technopocalypse

1. The hypothetical singularity moment when the advance of technology supercedes advance in relevant security by a margin so large that it results in unforseen catastrophic consequences for the entire planet.

2. The hypothetical scenario where we are inadequately prepared to deal with natural disasters such as solar flares crippling electronic, communications, financial and transport systems, that would effectively cripple the everyday functions of entire countries.

"Internet of Things is great and all, but when you're potentially arming hackers you might want to be more concerned about the technopocalypse."

The politically correct way to say someone is technologically retarded or ileterate. Someone who cannot understand how technology works or how to use it. Can be shortened to T.D.

Melissa: my dad just called me to ask me how to turn his laptop again.
Mike: your dad is technologically disabled !
Melissa: yea, he's so TD!

A hipster employed in tech industry or a tech startup, usually in San Francisco or New York.

1. Those technohipsters have basically ruined this neighborhood in San Francisco by making it non-affordable.

2. Look at all those technohipsters lining up at that new expensive brunch place!
3. Because of all these technohipsters working with their laptops, I can never get a seat at this cafe.
