Phrase critical of capitalism and damaging consequences of its money mechanism, referring to an incident — particularly a shocking or incredible news story — where money is, or has been, a key factor injurious to people and/or their environment. Examples include harmful business activities conducted for more profit; withdrawn/inadequate state funding for health care or other essential public services; property thefts; muggings etc.

Another fucking train’s been derailed because bosses are more interested in cutting costs than passenger safety! It’s more bloody Capitalist Money Madness!

Catchphrase used when you can't make ends meet, and/or when you're a typical worker who has to wait two full weeks for your paycheck to arrive.

I just got finished paying my friend back for the radio. Now I see two "windows" in my letterbox. Damn, why is there so much month left at the end of the money?

An amount of money which allows someone to simply summon sales people with a loud "yoohoo" and point to an item they wish to purchase without any need to know price.

Cotton Money

Money and capital assets made by Southern Aristocrats from slave labor on plantations.

Maybe we could claw back some of the Cotton Money that has accumulated from compound interest over the last century and a half and invest it in impoverish southern communities and underutilized and over exploited human resources.
