Parents whom, instead of engaging with their child themselves, give the child an electronic device, usually an IPad, and let the IPad keep the child busy rather than them.

I had IPAD Parents growing up, I didn't even know their names until I was 9.

Deputy Parent

An African term Ref. Southern Africa that is used to refare to the first-born child, Mainly towards first-born daughters. The term is used because First-borns usually take the role as an auxiliary parent or caretaker for their younger siblings, often bearing the same emotional and Physical responsibility as the actual parents.

Eg. I never catch a break at home. My parents are never around so as the Deputy Parent, I have to do everything.

Eg. She's the deputy parent.

Cunt Parent

Parent (or Parents) that enforce a financial, time and effort burden on their friends as they cannot be bothered to organise baby sitters to go to bars / restaraunts and instead always host an inferior event.

These parents always find excuses not to partake in activities, holidays, evenings etc and become overbearingly dull.

Brian: Hey Steve, are you coming on Johnny's stag do in Eastern Europe, we're going to shoot some tramps with some armed prostitutes??

Steve: Sorry Brian, Sarah's organised some 'drinks and nibbles' with the NCT lot. So I need to wear that new polo shirt that she bought me and keep everyone topped up with Waitrose quiche and hummus
