Tag Baiting

When using a social media platform in which hashtags sort posts, such as Instagram, a person adds hashtags that are unrelated. Often for the sake of reaching a wider audience.
This in consequence renders the hashtag sorting system useless.

Prounounced: bate-min
->Usually a male friend who is used to lure women through his good looks, but lacks the mental capacity to charm the opposite sex (that's where the "Primary" and the "Wingman" step in to steal the catch). The "Baitman" doesn't discriminate when it comes to getting laid - whether she's short, tall, big, or small it's all game for the "Baitman".
Setting: A conversation between the Wingman and the Primary as they reflect upon a night of mad hooking up..."Man, last night was a trip! Did you see the chick Greg hooked up with?? What a Baitman!!"

link baiting

The web publishing practice, usually on news or blogging sites, where something controversial is written (or a controversial headling is written) that the publisher knows will get a lot of interest from site visitors.

The ultimate goal is that the link will then appear on link aggregating sites (Digg, Fark, StumbleUpon, College Humor, Drudge, etc.), which will bring even more traffic to the site.
