A common response to the superfluous wants of someone in which situation there is either no ability or desire to respond to said wants. In other words, people in hell may want ice water, but the Devil has no desire to give it to them because they're in hell and now they have to deal with it.

Johnny: Dad, I really want a new BMW since Jason down the street got one.

Dad: Well, people in hell want ice water. You're going to continue to drive your 1999 piece-of-shit Toyota.

Surprised the hell out of me

Well, as you could probably guess it means that you are surprised. But it’s surprised in BIG CAPITAL LETTERS with explosions, earthquakes and tidal waves followed by a total eclipse of the sun. It’s the sort of surprise that you would feel when as you were feeding your cat she looked up at you and said “You’re fucking joking! I’m not eating that; it looks like puke and smells like shit! Get me some chicken or a piece of oak smoked ham, you arsehole.”

Malcolm actually did something right first time, it surprised the hell out of me.

Bullet Hell

A sub-genre of video games in the side scrolling shooter genre, where the screen is usually COVERED in bullets.

These games usually consist of your player character at the bottom of the screen, dodging waves of bullets and shooting at enemies, until you reach the end of the stage where you are greeted by a difficult boss with even more dangerous bullet patterns.

These games are strangely fun in a masochistic kind of way.

Not to be confused with Bulletstorm.

Touhou is an example of a bullet hell game.

Jason the hell out

When a situation gets hot and you need to get out really quick.

As done by the country singer Jason Aldean at his 2017 concert in Las Vegas that ended in tragedy when a shooter opened fire into the crowd, Jason thought fast and got the hell out. R.I.P to all who lost their lives that day.

Guy 1. So how did your date go last night?
Guy 2. Terrible!

Guy 2. All was well until she told me that she loved me.

Guy 2. I had to Jason the hell out of there, I told her that I had to go pee and never came back!
