As in to take a spoon of concrete as a sort of medicine to get tough, "harden up".

When someone is being a whinge bag. Perhaps they are making their own problems out to be worse than anyone else's, or just complaining about something that we all have to endure, it's just the rest of us don't enjoy being a victim. Or for someone who has learned to be a victim as some kind of role to have.

It's the ultimate in giving the youth a new perspective so that they can carry on the human race without crying themselves to death first.

Hole in my spoon

A slang coded phrase used by heroin addicts.

The phrase means that the user does not have any heroin.

Heroin is commonly heated in a spoon before being sucked into the syringe ready for injecting. The phrase therefore suggests if there is a hole in a spoon it can not contain heroin.
Used in Melbourne, Australia

"Can you help me out mate, I got a fucking hole in my spoon" said the addict to his dealer.

Bingo Spoon

A bingo spoon is an oversized party spoon given away as a prize during psychedelic trips. It has all of the best properties a spoon can have (smooth, comfortable handle, etc). Bingo spoons also appear in the wild. For instance, the cow on the cover of Ben & Jerry’s cookie dough ice cream is holding a bingo spoon.

I won a bingo spoon at the New Year’s Eve party and built a custom wall mount to display it in my kitchen. Ahh, memories.
