Hero

A hero is not an actor, pop star, or musician or athlete unless they’ve done something extraordinary outside of their discipline that’s benefited people or mankind without monetary reward. There. That’s the new real meaning. Not admiration of pop hero’s of dubious nature.
That guys a hero because he disabled that criminal with a chop to his neck thus saving my friends life.

Hero

this is someone who risk their life to save a good person or innocent. no matter how scary or impossible the situation and even if they got to do it alone. with no help and do it even when they get nothing for it. police, and military are not heroes. they are paid to do this , its their job , and wouldn't do anything without all their training and support and back up and resources, basket ball places and atheletes and actors and actress even the ones playing super heroes are not real heroes , not the real thing. if someone is your role model, that's that, not your hero. don't mistake role model for a hero.
it's only been one here in history that know one knows and no one will acknowledge who save the world so many times and all of us with it and is lonely, no girl wants to even love him. can't get work or sponsor anywhere keeping his secret identity so he don't take credit and profit off his good deeds. no one else shall be called hero especially just for trying to do it one time when it's easy for them or setting it up too look like a hero when he did this all his life. even if it meant him dying.

Hero

Hero, the name of an adorably oblivious young lady. A high-key heather, with a heart of gold. She receives a lot of genuine compliments, but she never believes them. Sadly, a very insecure and somewhat sensitive person. Which is why she tends to have more guy friends because they feel the need to protect her. She attracts a lot of touch starved people and quickly eliminates that aspect of their lives. An adorable dynamic between all her and her guy friends honestly. In short, the perfect combination of a soft girl and a 'bruh' girl.
Some Guy: That Hero chick needs to shut up.
Hero's guy friends: NO YOU NEED TO SHUT UP BEFORE WE BEAT YOUR FUCKING HEAD IN--

Folk Hero

A sarcastic way of referring to someone who seems to be doing a great thing for people but isn’t.

Also can refer to falsely famous.
He was considered a folk hero because he sold illegal drugs to his friends and classmates at a discount.

Anti-hero

An anti-hero is a protagonist who we watch take the inversion of the classic heroes journey. Hero's learn benevolence, anti-heros become increasingly egocentric. Hero's protect, anti-heros destroy. Hero's rescue victims, Antiheroes create victims and perceive themselves as one. Hero's are reliable narrators, anti-heros are not. As a hero grows into his cape, as it were, we find the anti-hero's ego outgrowing everything and everyone, eclipsing everything else.

A hero is a hero in actions, he doesn't need you to know it or tell him so. An anti-hero needs you to validate how hard they had it and how they moulded that into gold- They are walking contradictions, and the journey ends when their egos become so massive, they collapse in on themselves like a dying star. In a parallel universe, our hero takes that place in the sky.
Oy cunt, check out the lyrics of Taylor Swift's song ANTI-HERO

I have this thing where I get older but just never wiser
Midnights become my afternoons
When my depression works the graveyard shift
All of the people I've ghosted stand there in the room
I should not be left to my own devices
They come with prices & vices
I end up in crisis (tale as old as time)
I wake up screaming from dreaming
One day, I'll watch as you're leaving
'Cause you got tired of my scheming
(For the last time)
It's me, hi, I'm the problem it's me
At tea time everybody agrees
I'll stare directly at the sun but never in the mirror
It must be exhausting always rooting for the anti-hero
