A smoothie is a person who prefers to keep their body hair removed or very minimal, typically through shaving, waxing, or depilation, in order to maintain a smooth, hairless appearance. The term is sometimes used in kink, gay, fetish, and body-focused communities to describe someone who maintains smooth skin, but it can apply to people of any gender or orientation. A smoothie may enjoy the visual appeal of smoothness, the tactile sensation of hairless skin, or the act of being groomed, shaved, or kept smooth by themselves or a partner.

In contrast to a Warm Fuzzy or Cold Prickly, a Lukewarm Smoothie is a note given to someone which causes a confusion of good and bad emotions or indifference due to either the self-contradicting nature of the message or being a simple statement conveying no clear emotion. Additionally, a Lukewarm Smoothie is typically given anonymously and signed simply <3 LWS.

Examples of Lukewarm Smoothies:
