Troig

A more intense version of "foig." Foig tends to be a Vancouver word, much like the word "ceeb." The origins of both words cannot be certain though in terms of which school started using them first. In this case though, VC started troig along with its many extensions. Troig means tripple foig, hence a more intense version of foig.

Jack "Yo that big foig is walking towards us, lets all call him a troig when he walks by... TROIG!"

A female that tries to look good by hiding her true attributes, usually a girl who tries to take a lot of pictures on online dating sites where she hides her fat or ugly side so that a male mistakes for that of a pretty girl. These pictures usually hide moles, fat, and just overall hideousness. Maybe found all over the world.

Verb. At night or in dark room, re-enacting scenes from Tron or general sci-fi type fighting with glow sticks taped to your body. Tron glowsticks tape tron troning sci-fi night darkroom re-enacting fighting body

Bob looked in his cupboard to make sure he had lots of glow sticks and tape before committing to a night of troning with his friends.

After watching The Orphanage, Sarah spent several hours indulging in theraputic troping in order to alleviate her fears.

Trying on Sweaters

The act of power dating in search of the perfect 'fit'. Often initiated via online dating (a.k.a. database dating), Trying on Sweaters often involves long waits in line, multiple exchanges and buyers remorse. Sometimes you try on a sweater and everything seems fine, but then you realize that it doesn't quite fit. Even though the label said "Wash and Wear" it acted like it was dry clean only and after the spin cycle It became downright clingy.

Thanks to four active profiles on Match, OK Cupid, Timber and eHarmony she was Trying on Sweaters sometimes three or four times a day. Last night she didn't even want a sweater but it was on sale so she took it home anyway.
