brake check

The ILLEGAL act of intentionally slamming your own brakes in order for another driver tailgating you to rear-end your own car.

Many people do not realize it, but it is the person who slammed on his/her brakes that are at fault, not the tailgater.

If the police finds out about this, the tailgater will most likely be cited for following too close, and fined, but the brake checker will be arrested for reckless driving, and charged with a misdemeanor (or felony if someone gets injured or killed).
Brake checker: This driver behind me is following too close, time to brake check.

Tailgater: Your fault, not mine.

Brake checker: No, it's your fault, because you were following too close.

Tailgater: Let's see what the police says.

Police officer: Tailgater, this is a citation for following too close. Take care of that as soon as possible.

Tailgater: Thank you officer.

Brake checker: I'd better be on my way.

Police officer: No, you're coming with me. You're under arrest for driving recklessly with the intent to cause an accident.

Brake checker: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tailgater: U mad bro?

Brake Nazi

Brake Nazi

A brake nazi is the guy (or gal) driving in front of you that constantly pushes the brake pedal every few seconds, even if there is no one in front of them for miles.

Brake Nazi's are the cause of daily aggrevation, high blood pressure, and anxiety while in the car commuting to and from work (or other destinations)

Brake Nazi's are the people that use their brakes to slow down the car instead of properly gauging the distance between one car and the next, and just taking the foot OFF the gas pedal so they dont need to slam on the brakes every minute.
That guy in front of me is such a brake nazi. There's no one around him for miles but he keeps hitting the damn brakes. Where in the world did that a-hole learn how to drive?
