Generation Z

The first generation born in the 21st century and were born 2000 or 2001 to 2020. Generation Y or Millennials are born 1980s to 2000.

Kid: I'm 15 years old mom I can date a boy if I want.
Adult: Shut up you're generation z and are still a kid.
Kid: I hate you!

Generation X

A tech savvy generation with the unfortunate distinction of being born after the Boomer generation and thus having to suffer through the worse childhood of any generation.

Generally, for those who survived being spoiled rotten or beaten by their parents, they became happy, outgoing, and very innovative. For those who had to fight their way out they became leaders, innovators, and strong willed.

Criticized for being slackers but surviving the boomer generation would take the energy and initiative out of anybody.

Anyone born between 1967 and 1981.

Oregon Trail generation

Americans born during the Generation X and Generation Y (Millennial) overlap, generally 1977-1983. They can either be viewed as tail-end Generation Xers or very early Millennials, but some members prefer to be addressed as neither. Named after The Oregon Trail, an educational computer game fondly remembered by many born during these years. Also known as Xennials or Generation Catalano.

Person 1: "Are you a Millennial or Generation Xer?"
Person born in 1981: I'm part of the Oregon Trail generation.
