Flurrflake

A small ice crystal that falls in short bursts and has no accumulation. Not to be confused with snowflakes, these are much smaller, and identical. Considered to be a major hazard as they cause slippery driving conditions.

For about a half an hour this morning we had a good dusting of flurrflakes.
