Vergil-Type Enemy/Antagonist

A Vergil Type Enemy is a character, usually the protagonist's rival or nemesis, that resembles and directly antagonizes the later.

This character does so through a variety of factors, such as;

Having a similar apparel or design, most cases using a color scheme paralel to the one of the protagonist.
Or having a design that completely visually opposes the protagonist's looks.
Using techniques, fighting styles, or weapons that resembles the protagonist's own way of brawling.
Their inspirations and morals go against the protagonist's, strongly colliding each other's.
And many other topics.
"Dude, Jetstream Sam is such a Vergil-Type Enemy/Antagonist."

my enemy's enemy is my friend

a phrase used in The United States foreign policy since

the end of The Spanish-American War/Roosevelt Corollary (1898-1902) meaning :

as long as I (or my country) have a common enemy with a given person (or other country) I will take the risk that this friend (or allied country) of mine might later betray me.
Jason: James my man, I am doing a poli sci paper for school and am not sure what would be an appropriate epitome of the phrase my enemy's enemy is my friend.

James: The perfect epitome of this phrase would be IMHO, ask Henry Kissinger, one of the best experts of US Foreign Policy.

Arch Enemy

Swedish death metal band, with the exception of German vocalist Angela Gossow. The band has released six albums, with the latest and best-selling being Doomsday Machine. Their best original song is Ravenous, but their remake of the Judas Priest song Starbreaker (on their Rare and Unreleased disc) is probably the best song I've ever heard. Despite being such a great band, they have yet to break out onto the forefront of popularity in metal, reaching a peak position of only #87 on the Billboard charts for sales of Doomsday Machine.
Arch Enemy is my favorite band. I wish they hadn't gotten rid of Johan Liiva and I wish Christoffer Amott hadn't left.
