Andalusia is an autonomous region in the South of Spain. It borders with Extremadura and Castile-La Mancha in the North, the Mediterranean and Atlantic Ocean in the South, Murcia and the Mediterranean Sea in the East, and Portugal in the West. Andalusia covers 17.3% of Spanish territory, 87.268 square km in total.

According to andalusia-travel.com, Andalusia is devided on the provinces: Cordoba, Granada, Seville, Jaen, Huelva, Cadiz, Malaga, Almeria. The region is extremelly popular with tourists. The most visited resort area is Costa del Sol, especially its capital Malaga city. However, another coastal resort areas, such us Costa Tropical, Costa Almeria and Costa de la Luz are also very popular.

un chien andalou

Probably the greatest short film in existence by Luis Buñuel and Salvador Dali, and one of the most influential films ever. Preferable, in my view, to the longer follow-up *L'Age d'Or*, if only because *Un Chien Andalou* wastes no time trying to construct an even peripheral narrative. Just seventeen minutes of masterly, bizarre images and dream-logic. There's something gratifying in the fact that, in Bunuel's first film, Bunuel himself is practically the first thing we see. After he cuts open a woman's eyeball with a straight razor, we see him no more. A fine introduction. The Pixies made Debaser which is a song about the film.
