Toxic Progressivism

A social movement where people believe in large social reform, yet very narrow minded and unwilling to discuss with any opposition. Other viewpoints than that of their own are seen as morally wrong, and therefore spark immense anger with toxic progressivists, leading to nothing being done.

I can’t believe the toxic progressivism on everyone’s stories, I’m tired of seeing posts like “with no due respect unfollow me if you support Donald Trump.”

toxx clause

A rule originating on the Something Awful message boards that calls for the banning of a member who does not follow his own proclamation. These proclamations are typically in the form of "If X happens, I will do Y." The person who posts the claim is asked to follow through with his promised act or be banned for lying.

This rule originated from a forum member, Toxx, stating he would tape together the parts of his nether regions if a message board topic reached 5,000 replies. The Something Awful Administrator ordered that he post pictures of the completed act. No pictures were produced, and Toxx was banned as a result. The Toxx clause was instituted as a rule to discourage future members from making exaggerated claims.

Example poster 1: "If he sells this laptop to me for $200, I will eat my shorts."
Example poster 2: "Sell it to him just so we can test the Toxx clause."

toxic positivity

An Internet-wide phenomenon of suppressing discourse such as constructive feedback, pointing out flaws and suggesting improvements. People making any of these are deemed rude, offensive, and are ousted to great lengths due to the mentality of the necessity of walking on eggshells and forcing positivity so as not to hurt anyone's feelings and create a facade of a perfect paradise.

People can't improve or face reality when toxic positivity prohibits anyone from calling out any problems they may have.

toxic people

Basically an individual (or individuals) who has A very negative and self-intitlement disorder outlook in life. They are never happy and always want more and more. They are very cunning and Securetrust, you don't see it coming till it's too late. They often feel the "happiest" over other people misery and loss, and even work to make those thing happen. It can be someone as close as your own wife, to all way to more distant relatives. Tends to be those that always have to be taken care of and attention must always be given. They are very dangerous and you must stay away from them, they will literally drain you from all your energy and financial resources, thru various methods and combinations of "Love-Hate-love-Hate" cycles designed to confuse you and ultimately break you down.

You can literally die from these people, they will lead you astray.

Toxic Friend

a friend that embarasses you in social situations in order to gain attention; a person that constantly betrays your trust, but you cant get away from due to guilt issues; a type of friend that is ok one on one, but will turn on you as soon as other people are around, making it hard to break off the friendship because you 'know how they really are'.

toxic friend: *loudly so that the cute guy standing next to you hears* remember when you ripped that loud fart in front of that guy you liked?
