Snacktivism is the act of supporting a social or political cause through the consumption of certain foods or beverages, often with the intent of raising awareness or funding for the cause.

I participated in snacktivism by purchasing fair trade chocolate to support ethical labor practices in the cocoa industry.

Snackitizer

The tiny snack or appitizer that one eats in hopes of avoiding a bigger, higher calorie snack.

I was starving so I had a piece of candy but it was only a snackitizer because I was still hungry and had to eat a granola bar.

John thinks that apple will be a snack, but it will just be a snackitizer because he can't stop grazing.

Snacktician

The crew member aboard a racing sailboat who is in charge of selecting and distributing snacks to the rest of the crew at the appropriate moments during a race. The Snacktician may also be in charge of snackquisition. The title often devolves to snack bitch upon return to the dock after losing the race.

LuLu is the Snacktician aboard the boat "Fast Betty". She gave the crew PayDay bars on the first upwind leg of the race and Mystic Mint Oreos on the second upwind leg of the race.

A snack eaten with the sole desired result of producing a quick bowel movement. Usually consumed 30 minutes to an hour prior to a long event.

"We have to go to graduation in an hour - eat a snaxative !"
