A television network station that once had spark and fun. Used to be made up of shows such as Rocko, Hey Arnold, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Are You Afraid of the Dark, and Clarissa Explains It All, just to name a few. This network has downgraded itself with "new and improved" clean innuendo shows such as Spongebob Squarepants and Fairly Oddparents. Tries to redeem itself with "TeeNick" network, but has not been successful. On the brink of being off the expanded cable network.

Nickelodeon is on the brink of extinction.

Nickelodeon

One of the best channels on TV, until 2000/2001 when most of the classic and good shows were cancelled, thrust into reruns and replaced with mediocre shows, then around 2004 went downhill even further when the classic shows weren't shown as reruns anymore, and the new new shows went from mediocre to just straight up crap.

Examples of the lost magic and current crapiness of Nickelodeon:
All That: Originally very funny and more mature, then became a dull kiddy show before it was cancelled.
The classic Rocko's Modern Life which was hilarious and amazing has been replaced with the annoying and repititive Spongebob Squarepants.
Even shows in the new generation of Nick which were actually cool like My Life As A Teenage Robot, received good reviews and good ratings were cancelled. That seems to be a trend in Nick TV shows, cancel the good shows but keep the bullshit on.

Nickelodeon

nickelodeon was once a good network from late 80s to early 90s with programs like you can't say that on telivison, welcome freshman, round house, are you afraid of the dark?, pete and pete, salute your shorts, and hey dude.

These shows were canceled and were replaced by copy-cat versions of some shows (roundhouse became all that)and all around started to suck...now most of the current shows are plotless, and shitty

A Slooty Nickel is a term reffering to a girl who is both slutty, and a 5 on a scale of 1-10. The Slooty Nickel is a girl who is the "might as well girl" at the end of the night.

A denomination of money equal to $1, primarily used for purchasing vending machine food/drinks in the Rickover Building at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command in Goose Creek, South Carolina. Otherwise known as a presidential $1 coin

This machine sucks since it doesn't take rick nickels, so you have to get change from someone.
