SHOULD be used to describe one as either:
1. Happy, Jubilant
or
2. Homosexual
To use it as a synonym for "Stupid" is offensive to some people.

Using the word "gay" as a noun. This serves the purpose of epitomizing the subject of the noun as completely encompassing the essence of being gay. Not a gay person, but a gay.
