Gimmicksphere

A buzzword to denote a product or service that, although showing much promise for paradigm shift-creating greatness, languishes in the ether as a result of failing to prove its worth beyond gimmicky uses & implementations.

However, despite years of serious development and now wider adoption by content providers and consumers alike, it has yet to emerge from the gimmicksphere.

A word used to express a deep understanding of a topic at hand.

To acknowledge or agree with a statement.

To end a conversation.

To Empathise
To be used slowly and with deep thought. The utterance of the word "Gimm" should be followed by a slow head nod.

Chris: Well, it was great talking with you man, we'll have to catch up again soon.
Benjamin: Gimm.

Carrie: It's just so frustrating! Can't you help me with this homework?
Kyle: Gimm

Steve: *Tells a horrible tale how his wife ran off with a broom maker*
Allison: Gimm

pippitty poppitty gimme the zoppitty

Used as a "black man phrase" in "The Office"

The phrase can be taken as "I'm here for the goods," or "show me the love."

When Michael and Darryl went to ask for a raise from their boss:

Darryl: Alright, bring it home Mike. And don't forget the new black man phrase I taught you."

Michael: "pippitty poppitty gimme the zoppitty."

Darryl: Yes, sir! Ill be right outside if you need me.

Having the quality of inadequate performance and/or functionality as the result of egregious mismanagement especially that resultant from a design committee or other bureaucratic process.

I had the access to data and tools to peform my job requirements, until someone gimpdified my login, now I can't do anything.

A compound word combining the words "gimp" and "gimic".

Did you see the guy with the crutches on The Voice last night? What an awesome gimpic!

Steady Eddy was a world leader in the use of the gimpic.
