Sluggy Freelance

One of the best comics on the planet, written by Pete Abrams. It started in 1997 and has not missed a day ever since. It falls into no specific genre, but covers humor, sci-fi, horror, parodies, drama, a little romance and everything in between.

There are pirates, ghosts, nerds, aliens, laser canons, mad scientists, homicidal rabbits, ferrets, assassins, ninjas, demons, satan-spawn kittens, and is pretty entertaining to boot.

It can be located at www.sluggy.com. Just use the convinient little drop-down bar and enjoy from the beginning, middle, or just jump in at the present- though I wouldn't reccommend it; there are many things that require background information... besides, it's just more fun to read from the beginning!

You can also purchase things to do with the comic or a subscription as a defender of the Nifty to access extra stuff. Enjoy!

Me: Oh no! I'm reading Sluggy Freelance and Aylee has transformed into a potato-eating dragon that releases EMP's and she accidentaly erased all of Bun Bun's Baywatch tapes! Now Torg, Riff, Zoe, Aylee, and Kiki are all on the run and now Torg, Zoe, and a bunch of Zoe's college friends have run into Satan-spawn kittens in a little town in the middle of nowhere and it doesn't things don't look good for them!

freeloader

Someone who sits at home all day in an environment that they don't pay for. They do nothing all day, tbey dont clean or go to school, they just sit there and eat food that they didn't pay for. When it comes time to have bills paid they call their mommy and daddy for some money, & then tell their parents that they are looking for a job when in reality they spend their time sitting on the couch consuming large amounts of food. They don't care about themself or their life because someone is always there to bail them out. There for they dont care about their car, their living environment, and even their personal hygiene.

Person A- Hey the rent is due tomorrow. I know you're a freeloader so get the money from your mom.
Person B- Okay let me call my mom and I'll freeload off her and get the money.

A person who does whatever he/she feels he/she must do, and whenever, wherever and however he/she feels he/she must. No matter what others think he/she should do. Acrylic Freelancers follow a new type of religion called Acrylic Freelancing, and are known as Acrylic Freelancists. This religion is not like any other, and can have people faithful to other religions, faithful to this one too, because this one respects people's beliefs. Acrylic Freelancers can be pretty or ugly, sane or insane, black, white, or purple it doesn't matter. Acrylic Freelancers can pursue short or long-term employments if they feel they must. The only concrete things about Acrylic Freelancing are that Acrylic Freelancers follow what they consider freedom in life. Acrylic Freelancers are not biased in any way. And they ALWAYS respect other's beliefs and other Acrylic Freelancers. Acrylic Freelancers are thinkers and they know what they do and what will happen when they do it.
